Soooo I just realized that I accidentally signed up for Experian's "Active Duty" one-year fraud alert even though I'm not military. It was an honest mistake and the website never asked me to verify that I was military. Are there repercussions for this, and if so how do I fix it?

I was setting up a fraud alert because of the recent Equifax data breach, and I meant to do the 90-day alert and did the one-year "active duty" fraud alert by mistake. I am not a military member. Do I need to fix this, and if so, how?

Edit: I see here how to remove the alert, but is there a need to? Can I get in trouble for using it when I'm not military?
