I'm a 23M and I'm living in the most expensive city in Canada, which means homes aren't easily acquired, especially for millennial who are trying to pay off school debt (as is my case). My father wants to give it to me because he plans to retire in his home country which is more favourable for him and my mom and have homes over there.
Anyway, I just feel there is a social stigma against young adults who never moved out or learned to live on their own but at the same time I don't want to waste money on renting someplace else... I pay for my things while I live with my parents and I give them money for rent.
