My options are: Fully loaded Herman Miller Mira for 500$-used from a warehouse- perhaps can haggle lower, so no warranty
Herman Miller Aeron- tilt/lumar/arms - 825+taxes- should be 5-year warranty according to the amazon page- sold by Herman Miller.
Steelcase Leap Chair V2- most or all the stuffs- 575+tax- open box so should be no warranty
Prices are CAD, so expect them to seem higher then you'd think.
Really want a good chair, but not sure what to grab. I like the idea of a mesh bottom but never actually owned one, so unsure how reliable the material is. Conversely, I'm unsure how reliable a foam type bottom on the Leap is for a long duration. Is a 5 year warranty worth the 300+$ different in grabbing the Aeron? I'm pretty light and thin so I don't expect my weight to cause any issues with chair decisions. I'm 160lb.
Edit- Realised open box does't have tax since its a used item, so the prices are final sale prices
