So my partner is a toe-walker. He's one of those tall lanky guys that bounces when they walk, and his shoes wear out ridiculously fast because of this. Usually they wear out right at the toe crease and come loose from the soles all down the front sides. He busted through a pair of leather converse in less than 2 months with daily wear. Even more expensive pairs don't last longer than a season. I want to invest in a higher quality shoe, but if we're spending $150+ I want to make sure they'll be able to withstand excessive toe-walking. With the way he damages cheaper shoes, I'm not sure more expensive ones would be able to be resoled. He's also got fairly wide feet and is normally size 12-13 depending on the brand. Does anyone have any suggestions?
