Hello, I'm a lifelong side sleeper. I have been struggling to find mattress pads and pillows that are both comfortable and will help me wake up with less pain. I would like to spend no more than $200 on a mattress pad and maybe around $60 for a pillow.

Some information about my sleeping habits/stats: -I move a lot when I sleep -I am 5'3" and weigh less than 140 lbs; basically, I don't make a dent on certain memory foam pads when I'm stretched out (I need a mattress pad that will actually conform to my body!) -I have a lot of back, hip, and neck pain that is probably due in part to the unsupportive way I sleep -I want something supportive enough that my joint pain will be minimized, but comfortable enough that I feel like I'm sinking into a cloud -Firmer, higher lofted pillows kind of hurt my neck -No down pillows for allergy reasons

What I've Tried: -Currently using this pillow; far too lofted for me...not sure if I should attempt removing foam to see if it makes a difference? -Currently sleeping on this mattress pad. It feels great when I'm sitting on it, but when I lay down it's like I'm not even on the pad at all--I don't sink in. -Previously used this mattress pad. The memory foam wasn't great/dense enough. -Previously slept on this pillow for the past year, but the display picture doesn't show the shape of the pillow. It's shaped like this.

Your advice is greatly appreciated! These past few weeks I've been testing stuff out from Amazon and then sending it back because it just isn't what I thought it was.
