I'm thinking of throwing down $200 for the thinsulate/goretex bean boots. They seem to be great all around for things like quality of build, looks, price, comfort. I usually wear waterproof moabs and wool socks in the winter, but I'm considering these thin/gore BB for just having as a backup for days where I know I might be outside for extended periods shoveling, hiking (really just walking through snowy fields for fun). I know BB are bifl, but there are other options at higher price points. Again I'm talking the thinsulate/goretex model.
