Hey everyone,
I just passed the Series 65 exam with a 77. This was my second attempt after failing it the first time with a 61. When I first took the exam, I used only Training Consultants. Their material was awesome when it came to understanding the concepts. They "dumb it down" to a way to where someone who's not as familiar to the industry, like myself, can grasp. Their question bank was also good, but a little more limited than what I would've liked. I basically studied for a few weeks without really grasping the material and failed. After that, I started to use the Kaplan qbank. That was what helped me pass. The questions in their qbank help prepare you for the real exam.
So here's my advice. Understand the material. And then take quizzes. Like I said, Kaplan qbank put me over the top. And don't just focus on the practice exams. Take the quizzes in particular sections that you are unsure of. To those of you trying to take down this beast, it's not easy. But if someone like me can do it, IT CAN BE DONE!!!
