20, Community college student. I have a windows touch screen that I bought in 2014, but the screen is heavily damaged (baby oil), the outer body is damaged, etc. It’s my 3rd windows laptop. My screen has recently started blacking out randomly.
With my student discount, a brand new, from the Apple store MacBook Air would cost me $920 (including tax) and the Pro would be $1200 (including tax). Either laptop can come with a free pair of Beats Solo Wireless headphones, that I can easily resale for $100, bringing each price down to $820 and $1100 respectively.
I want a MacBook because I have an iPhone, and plan to buy Apple TV.
I have $2500 in my savings, but I have to move out in December and still haven’t found an apartment or reliable transportation.
I need a reliable computer ASAP (think pads and chrome books are no-gos because of the software I have to download for school)
