TLDR: getting a new phone, what phone will give me the most years/$?
So my wife just broke her iPhone 5s and so we need a new phone. She likes Apple but I'm not picky, so I was thinking about getting something more economical and giving her my iPhone. I'm pretty sick of Apple products inevitably dying every couple of years, so I'm looking for something reliable that will last me for years (possibly something with a replaceable battery?).
We are also thinking about switching carriers (from Verizon) so sign-up deals are also on the table. Any suggestions?
