Hi, all. Are there any MA car owners here with tips for getting a lower monthly premium on their auto insurance? Or with tips for researching options?

My situation: I purchased a car yesterday in VA because I've been living here for the past 7 years and recently confirmed a job offer in MA where a car will be required for my commute. I am happy with what I paid for the car, but uncharacteristically and stupidly did not put the same effort and research into finding an insurance company prior to going to the dealer to pick up the car. I decided to go with Geico in my pinch, but the rate I was given seems higher than what makes sense for my car make/model, years of driving experience, and driving record. MA has more requirements for coverage than most states so I'm sure the price is in part due to that as well as the specific zip code I am in within the state. Also, I doubt that Geico offered me an unnecessarily high price given the regulations for insurance. I would feel better if I could better research my options, but everything I've come across online hasn't been specific to MA and this seems like something a local might have better insight about. Thanks!
