Is there a subreddit with info on where systems in different states?
I'm currently a single mom. I recently moved from middle of no where SD to Minneapolis in hopes of the bigger city having opportunities for me to obtain self sufficiency. Bad move. The daycare assistance wait-list is over a year. And their welfare system doesn't require you to work until your child is 6 years old to offset this. I can't afford to be on welfare for 6 years, I need to be able to work and have a place to live and bills paid. So I'm trying to find information on a better place to go as far as getting help with daycare and such that has public transportation and adequate basic level jobs.
