Album of the issue here. Faces a busy city street in Philadelphia and hate being woken up at 3am by loud motorcycles and shouting frat bros. Going to add more photos in a bit.I have looked into Mortite and the plastic strips that can seal using the hot air from a hairdryer but I'm not sure how effective either will be in this situation. As you can see in the album this is less about the frame of the window but the space between the two panels in each of the three windows in my bedroom facing a busy city street.Degree of the gap is different for each window but worst one lets me comfortably fit most of my fingers through. The other story is the top pane which has been cracked and broken multiple times and just patched with a spare piece of glass glued on. Since I'm renting I obviously can't hire a contractor to completely replace but aside from taping sound-dampening sheets I don't know what I could do there. Is this a safety issue I could report? via /r/DIY http://ift.tt/2iOJG89
