Since I'm not seeing them on Filson's site anymore, I'm led to believe that they will no longer be making them and that the remaining stock has found their way to Nordstrom Rack.
In addition to the original briefcase, I saw the small duffel, and a couple rolling suitcases by Filson. Again, YMMV, but I saw them at the Fremont, Emeryville and 9th Street San Francisco locations.
Price of the brown 256 was $150. Also saw 1 of the 257 at the San Francisco location for the same price.
Definitely worth checking to see if some ended up at your location.
