I am living in Europe for the next 2 years. I want to transfer 20,000 to myself from my savings account. I am guessing I just wire it with western union from my savings account. I don't want to set up a bank account here. it will just be for a large purchase immediately (actually large, a van). I won't be traveling around with that much money on me.
Is there anything I should know before I do this regarding large international cash transfers?
