I read a post saying that people without experience or training could go to Australia, work for pretty good wages ($20ish/hr), and live at an extremely low cost of living. All together, this was said to combine to mean I could leave Australia after a year with $30,000 or more extra in my bank account. It now sounds like that deal might not be quite as good as it was. For example, a "backpacker's tax" was passed in Australia this year that considerably weakens the deal.
But it got me thinking, are there other places like this in the world? I'd want to be safe and have access to fast, reliable internet, but other than that, where could I go in the world to put as much money into my bank account as possible?
