We've been dating for almost 7 years most of which I financially supported him. (It was my choice, I'm not here to complain about that.)
I saved up a few thousand dollars and moved us across the country to Colorado, where he is now making more money than I ever have and has a nice managerial position. We have a nice house that we just moved in to and desperately need to cut back on a few luxuries to build up a savings again.
I can not get this boy to stick to a budget or cut back on anything. He was so used to depending on me or not being able to afford anything he doesn't want to give up buying whatever he wants when he wants. We had an argument yesterday about not eating out for the 6th time this week and instead eating the groceries I bought for the house.
How do I approach this in a reasonable manner?
