Hi r/DIY, I hope everyone is having a nice day/night!I used to have this Acer Iconia A200 tablet but it ceased to function last month. So I decided to dismantle it, and use the screen to make a Raspberry Pi-blet. Everything is alright, the surgery was a success (I sent it to a hardware service shop for the disassembly) and my controller board that I ordered came from Hong Kong in less than a Month. So now, when I connect everything and decide to test it with my computer the screen turns on and first it is white, and then fades to black. Here is a video showing this. Some people said that it can be a burnt capacitor, but they look clean and new.So after some research I came to the conclusion that it might be one of two things:The screen is broken. The controller board is defective.Specs and Details:Controller board model: XY-RD70W-P1Display model: B101EVT03I tried connecting the vga cable to other sources (two more PCs, aside my own) with the same result. The power source was shipped with the controller board and the Input (AC110-240V) and Output (DC12V/3A) is correct.Im scratching my head endlessly. Please help :( via /r/DIY http://ift.tt/2ybOoUm
