Hello DIY,I am currently building a terrarium for my ball python. The old one broke while moving to my new apartement, so it is kind of urgent to finish it. :)Before I explain my problem: I have never build something this big before, especially with epoxy resin. The terrarium is made from OSB and since the snake will need a high air humidity, I would like to seal the wood against water and consequently rot.I bought a set of epoxy resin which is suitable for aqauriums and terrariums to coat all walls, the floor board and the ceiling board with it. Before using the epoxy, I filled all small holes and uneven parts of the OSB and sanded the boards with a 40 and 120 sandpaper to get a smooth surface. After vaccuming and cleaning the boards with a towel several times, I started to apply the epoxy.I made sure to use the right amount of resin and hardener by measuring with a digital kitchen scale and stirred the epoxy thoroughly before pouring it.The main problem is a lot of small "holes" in the coat where no expoy remains. It looks kind of like raindrops on a fresh car paint, but inverted.I spread the expoxy evenly in a thick coat and after 45 mins I finished it with a small sponge-like roller to achieve an even surface. Unfortunaltey the problem remains, I now get a lot of small holes in the epoxy and not an even surface. To explain further: the first 3 layers of Epoxy from a few days ago were applied without filling the holes and sanding. The result was exaclty the same, only the holes in the epoxy were slightly bigger.there is already 3 layers of epoxy and 1 layer of filler, to close the holes from the first pour. Why is it still not curing evenly?I also tried to help the epoxy cure with a hair dryer to get rid of any bubbles and used 3 times as much epoxy this time on the same area. (Around 650 grams for an area of 2,00 x 1,00 m)What am I doing wrong here?I appreciate any help. Snek wants to do a heckin stretch again!Thank you! Edit: I can't upload any images since I am not at home and my heckin MacBook won't let me access the pitures on my iPhone without syncing it.
