This may seem obvious to a more experienced wood worker, but I'm just getting into wood working and mostly use the table saw and chop saw.I want to make a bed and use some fancy joinery to secure the 4 sides with the post. I found this option which looks perfect http://ift.tt/2y8rflB'm a bit unsure of how best to do this. Since it is a bedframe the wood pieces will be pretty big (3"x3" x 80ish) so I could do the first cut easy, but for the second cut setting up a jig to cut these pieces vertically will probably get me banned from the wood shop or a few less fingers (depends on how busy the shop is).I don't have too much experience with the router table, but would I be able to use a 1" straight cut bit and set up a 1" fence to make these cuts? or would the leave me with a rounded edge?I've only really done cuts that are full dimensions (cutting the whole piece), so i'm unsure of how to make these more nimble cuts and still end up with squared joints. via /r/DIY http://ift.tt/2k4dzSb
