Despite B-shares being available to foreigner ers, it's still very hard to find a broker that offers services on the Shanghai or Shenzhen stock exchange. I'm troubled as to why this is.
To compensate, I've looked at etf's but there are just a few that actually hold shares in China (not Hong Kong), ASHR and PEK. And there are even fewer sector ETFs - specifically, Ive been looking for a financial sector one.
China's had the stance of opening up investment for years now but why is it still so hard to invest? (From Canada here) Anyone got experience here?
