This is meant to be a lighter themed post where people can share the positions they have that they're most positive about and proud of. Stocks they own with great passion that they get excited talking about. This is not a post about what stocks have more value to own, or what strategies are prudent, purely about stocks in your portfolio that you are passionate to own and really looking forward to what comes next.
For me, it would have to be $AAPL (Apple) and $PLNT (Plant Fitness).
$PLNT because it's allowing SO many people I know access to fitness equipment for such a low cost. It's super popular within my family, and many of them go as a whole family group. These are people that beforehand would never look at a gym but because of the low cost and super welcoming atmosphere (at least at their local one) they're actually going.
$AAPL because their phones are getting better, and faster, and more advanced. The ability to now send money through the messaging app, record nearly movie quality video in a device not even half an inch thick, and have such a powerful and interactive computer right at your fingertips blows my mind. I think we take for granted what smart phones have done for us, and how insane they are. Their innovation may not be on the same pace as when the iPhone first came out, but they're definitely moving forward and improving. In my opinion it'll get to the point where smart phones (from any company) will become so advanced and so technologically powerful that they could one day replace the personal computer. The fact that such a small device can do your banking, your investing, take care of all your communication, be used in schooling and in business, be used for purchasing, be used to stream music and movies and television, I could go on and on and on and on.. People definitely take for granted how easy they've made our lives, and all the potential that's still there that's untapped like virtual reality. Imagine if you had such a device in ancient times. You would be a god. A magical tablet that does math and has movies and games and information on it..in the palm of your hand.. I know we're so used to it now but it still BLOWS MY MIND.
