I need your help guys.

I recently severed ties with a very large company of cosmetics and I gave them my two weeks notice and all. The final day I worked was on Sept 5th. Which was time and a half. The company says you get 72 hours of paid vacation a year and it starts in July every year. I have used 10 hours of this time.

I just received what l thought looked like a check and it had the hours I worked on Labor Day and underneath minus everything.

In the comments section of the check it says 'hours worked for 9/3-9/4 Less 1 day vac and 6 hours PTO overtaken'

Now - we process vacation and PTO in an ADP system that allows you credits so I don't see how I could have overtaken anything.

But anyway, my whole check is deducted out. I'm super freaked out and upset because I was expecting 52 hours paid out, and now, they have taken an entire day I could have been off, along with not giving me any other pay.

Any insight from anyone on this? Also, I was an hourly employee in the state of Washington.
