Hey all. Ever since I graduated college and joined the work force, I've been regularly studying money to make sure I'm making the best financial decisions I can. As an already frugal individual, the values and behaviors Mister Money Mustache espouses really clung to me and I've made the decision to try to reach financial independence by 40. For that reason, I'm writing now after declining a night out with some new friends.

Do any younger savers feel this same pain? How do you deal with it? Personally, I am able to afford the nights out as I've got a great salary, however I'm determined to pay off my student loans in 3 years and would rather spend my time in, what I consider, more meaningful but ultimately more expensive social interactions like trips.
