I am making a set of wood shelves. I am building the vertical supports out of 3 inch thick wood, and I would like to make a groove for the shelf to sit in. Ideally this groove would be about 1.5 inches deep and I was wondering if a router would be able to cut this? I don't have a router, and was planning on buying one, however, don't want to waste my money. I was looking at the Bosch 1617evs- would this be able to do it? Obviously I could make three passes at 0.5 inch, 1 inch, and 1.5 inches. Thanks for the advice! via /r/DIY http://ift.tt/2eyD64j
