My girlfriend has had a couple car accidents in the past 2 years and now her insurance is sky high.
Quote for me: $90/mo
Quote for me and her: $215/mo
This is for a car leased in 2015 for $19k. We barely use the car, perhaps 3-4 days a month. I am driving it 90% of the time.
Two questions:
1) Can I just list her as an occasional driver? We live together so not sure any insurance co will allow it.
2) Any insurance cos that will charge less given how little we actually drive? Not even at 10k miles after two years of having the car
