Hi all, I'm very new to investing and I was wondering if there is anything preventing me from investing in the company I work for. I've heard about insider trading laws before, but does that apply at all for a low level employee?
Say for example my boss tells me a plan discussed in the quarterly board meeting that I think might bring up the value of the company can I then go buy up some shares?
No my company does not have any program for employees to buy shares except for an option to make it part of your 401k portfolio.
