They're a real problem right now on Amazon, I usually look for good deals but been realizing some of these Chinese dealers are abusing fake reviews to an astronomical extent. Fakespot has been mentioned here, but I've found if a product has less than 100~ reviews, it's not as reliable, and a lot of new products get low ratings on Fakespot, but have been pretty great! But after around that number, it starts getting shady.

Example: "Hhusali HDMI Switch" on Amazon- these guys have over 700 (seven hundred) reviews, have a "Best Seller" tag, and fakespot reports over 75% of them as unreliable. If you look at the verified critical reviews, all of them have a negative rating (either 2 or 1 star). Don't waste your time or money buying these shady brand items.

TL;DR, fakespot anything that has over 200-ish reviews before you buy, you'll waste a lot of time dealing with returns.
