So I am really into bulk buying foods and usually get like boxes of something instead of single serves etc but I have another challenge because of the place where I am staying a kind of spiritual retreat place so my food has to be meat free (I know it's a limiter but rules are rules) so I have been stuck with finding all sorts of vegetarian pastas and noodles and such and meat free products.
Now not gonna lie meat free products can be pretty expensive so they have become a luxury item but premade pastas and noodles are good frugal winners and jackpots.
So I am trying to find a place that will deliver to New South Wales, Australia some macaroni and cheese or two minute noodles.
If you can think of any other good items that are meat free to bulk order also please let me know as I might have missed some.
My local supermarket (Coles and Woolworths) already have some good deals like $2 AUD for a pack of 4 Mac and cheese microwave meals and $2.50 for a pack of 5 two minute noodles etc so I am trying to find out if I bulk order more say like 1000 from the supplier if I can get a better deal.
Now for me personally I can eat between 2-3 packets of any sometimes even 4 if I am really hungry or haven't eaten in days especially after a few days wet fast (no food just water) so I can go through these pretty quick.
And for those wondering about nutritional value don't worry I have my fair share of veggies and fruits and a whole lot of other good vitamins from my normal meals this is more to break the monotony and add some common luxuries here and there so I don't go insane from eating too many of the same curries and vegetable stir fries every single day.
In my local supermarket the main brands are Kraft, Continental and Maggi but there are some others like Indomie, On the menu, No frills brands and etc.
I was wondering if anybody knew if it was possible to get even cheaper deals for bulk orders. We already do some bulk orders from the food bank so I was wondering if anybody knew if they are able to get it from some private suppliers.
