So I try to live a pretty frugal lifestyle, I really value money and the opportunities it can bring when you don't waste it on stuff and services you don't need. But one area I feel like I'm falling down is skincare. I have had problem skin for years, and have spent a lot of money trying to find ways of fixing it. Thanks to the great people at r/skincareaddiction I've learned a lot about the science and the ingredients used in skincare, but I find myself reading about the next "wonder ingredient" that's going to fix my skin forever and mentally adding it to an ever increasing wish list. I WISH I was one of those people who can just wash their faces with a bar of soap and have great skin, but that would be a disaster for me. I'm constantly fighting a battle in my head between wanting to save money, but also wanting to have decent skin.
I'm wondering if anyone else finds that there is an area in which they feel like their frugal ways just fall down? Whether it's skincare or something else. Thanks :)
