Hello r/diy, I am about to hardwire cheap LED undercabinet puck lights, and encase the lights, wiring, and ballasts (term?) inside a 2" thick hollow shelf made up 1/4" mdf and pine. For more details and images of what I am proposing please check out the project's album.I've the wiring set up externally and everything works fine, and maybe had the lights on for 5 seconds, but long term, am I good?edit: one issue I forget to mention is that there is nothing for me to attach the Romex ground wire to. via /r/DIY http://ift.tt/2fafzUl
