I own a private holding company, incorporated in Canada, that's doing business as an investment firm. I'm the only director atm. I have a very specific vision for the company, so far it's doing very well and I'm grateful. Since June there have been offers by some US based institutional investors and I've been turning down the offers, but now the amounts they're offering are getting ridiculous. I'm not the greediest person but closing the deal is getting enticing. My worry is they're trying to mold the company into something else. I'm trying to rationalize the numbers they're throwing and I'm thinking they're trying to buy me out without fully buying me out. Advise.
