TL;DR: My rust-oleum clean metal primer only sprays if I hold the can upside down or shake it constantly. Can I fix this?I'm repainting a floor register (furnace vent). I applied the first few coats of primer after preparing the surface, then cleaned the nozzle and kept it in a jar of denatured alcohol. It worked perfectly fine that first time. After 48 hours, I sanded and tried to apply another coat. Now the can only sprays air, unless I shake it hard or hold it upside down. I tried an unused nozzle on the can and had the same problem. I haven't been able to find any information on why this is or how to fix it.The can is one of the newer ones that spray at any angle, and I suspect there's a clog in the mechanism attached to or inside of the can itself. via /r/DIY http://ift.tt/2jnpYk0
