I'm setting up a standard reverse osmosis system(under the sink), but I decided to put it in my basement. I did this once in a crawl space and it worked well. So today I ran all the tubing(poly) about 30 feet or so. After about three minutes the tubing split in slits on the water-in tube and the waste tube. Is it because of the extra drop to the basement? 10 feet maybe? However the crawl space before worked and it was probably 6 feet? Was it the pressure or was it just bad tubing. Is my goal possible of having the tank and filters in the basement? Different kind of tubing? Any thoughts would be appreciated. via /r/DIY http://ift.tt/2vw27Ta
