Helping a friend to Paint a bunch of rooms at a rental property. They have to be turned around quickly, and there are people ready to move in in a week. We are using Cloverdale paint. Asked the company for a low VOC paint, but they stated for the kind that we bought it makes little to no difference in the odour/residual odour and ends up costing more. Some of the rooms do not have windows, so we can't get some fresh air into them all. We tried fans to help gets some airflow, but it still has a strong smell after 3-4 days.Would like to know some tried and true ways to quickly air out a room! Google has offered suggestions such as using charcoal in buckets, or fresh ground coffee to help absorb/mask the odour. Is there products available that you can mix into paint? Tried to find some in a search, but all I found was air freshener spray type things... I don't want to add to the fumes haha.Just for future projects- Are there any paint brands that you find have less of an odour?Thank you in advance for any insight!!! via /r/DIY http://ift.tt/2wHqDz9
