I've built a workbench for a myriad of DIY uses. Due to a limited budget I made the top out of half inch thick plywood. However I noticed that the plywood is easily damaged and dinged (I know, plywood, I should have expected but I'm an idiot). Also the surface of the bench is likely to come into contact with high heat, primarily soldering. Is there any sort of inexpensive coating/thin material or something of the like that I could use to get a better surface without rebuilding the entire bench. via /r/DIY http://ift.tt/2v5ZFTq
