I was looking around for examples of companies that have completely died - BlockBuster Video came to mind.
The first symbol I found was BLIAQ
, which has hovered around a cent or below for several years now. Pulling the latest intra-day numbers, it appears to fluctuate throughout the day.
I'm fairly new to investing, so maybe this is a dumb question - however, what exactly influences these numbers on such a small scale? Does this mean the company is still doing something? I would imagine it's affected by other variables in the market, but I'm not entirely sure how that would work.
Any insight would be appreciated!
