I'm sure this has been posted before, but I just stumbled upon this sub. I'm so frugal my SO says I'm just plain cheap. I've always loved a deal, but in the last year my frugal ways have gone from clever "because I cans" to necessity since son has been born.

Right now almost every dollar is tied up in bills and, for the first time in my life, I don't have extra to put in savings. I'm still paying off a couple credit cards from son's birth, + mortgage, cars, insurance, utilities, student loans, and groceries, and I'm wiped clean.

Any frugal advice for your run-of-the-mill, lower middle class American family? TIA!
