mine i've learned from various subs: -learning about the dollar tree. never went it bc i thought it was "just another dollar store," but then learned how cool it was on r/frugal. it saves me hundreds a year. -learning not to use the word "wedding" when booking events bc vendors jack up the price. -reminding me to exploit rewards programs on credit cards to the maximum extent possible, opening a few cards a year -teaching me about various cashback programs, eg ebates. -teaching me about a few sites that give you free magazines for filling out short survey (eg rewardbee) - just did it last night but hopefully pans out.
i'm sure there's more but those are the ones that come to me off the top of my head.
