I'm in a LDR and will be visiting my SO every month for about 5 days each time. Since he is funding the visits, I'm not going to bring up this additional expense and will pay for it on my own. I looked on insuremytrip and it looks like the cheapest rates available are ~$75-80. That's going to add up 12x a year, although there's no way I would risk not taking it lest something happen and for the peace of mind. But I would like to know is there other options to get it cheaper that I'm unaware of?
(I didn't post this on travel, travel advice, etc because from what I could see, the posts there either focus on destinations/pics or the sub is pretty dead).
