So currently I have the following:
- 1 charcoal suit
- 2 additional pairs of dress slacks
- 1 belt (its coming apart from the seems)
- 1 black pair of dress shoes
- Couple pairs of dress socks (maybe 3ish)
- Have a handful of ties
PwC is smartish-casual at the office and some of the clients, I was wondering if anyone has advice on what to buy? One of the associates I met with told me that jeans and chinos are good, and long/short sleeve buttonup shirts, polos, and work appropriate shoes. I was thinking of getting short-sleeve button-ups from Express, does anyone have any other recommendations on brands? I was also thinking of Aldos for casual shoes? Should I be wearing dress socks with casual shoes around the office (say with a short sleeve button-up and chinos and aldos, I should be wearing dress socks with it or are Nike socks fine)?
I have clothes to wear to go out and stuff, I'm mainly concerned with just getting my work-related clothes down. Would chinos always be a better buy than jeans if I'm looking to be in smart-casual/casual?
This is also in the SF/San Jose area
