I tour with traveling events and have hit the point where I just want to have my own water bottle instead of relying on the ones the show provide for us. I have a Kleen Kanteen one currently that I found along the way and hate the bottle topper on it - it's like an anti-leak measure, but just ends up squirting water in my face all the time. I had a Walmart metal bottle for about four months but it got moldy and I didn't have the ability to get it cleaned properly without spending the cost of the bottle itself. I don't mind metal or plastic, so long as it can be dropped (honestly, very frequently) without getting utterly destroyed over the course of 6-10 months. A friend had a Yeti bottle but I'm not sure how I feel paying that for mostly the brand name, even though it hit a few of my interests.
My goal: Under $30, preferably no straw, have a lid that allows for it to be sturdily clipped to a backpack. Bonus points for a black, grey/silver, or navy blue option with an unobtrusive logo. Super bonus points if it's got an affordable, able to be reordered on Amazon Prime filter.
