This summer marks the second time that i've fallen/slipped in birkenstocks and really hurt myself. This time it was falling down a rocky incline and giving myself road rash. I guess there's not enough grip and the leather has stretched out.
I'm not a huge sandal fan but sometimes you need a solid pair. I'm looking for a BIFL (ish) sandal, with enough grip that it'll not make me fall and die and maybe an ankle strap so my feet don't slide out. I love birks but fool me twice, shame on me.
Edit: I'm also a v tall person so i need men's 10.5, ladies 12.5/13.
