I need a new chair. My leather one has been torn up by the cat, I'd like a more durable comfortable one with a mesh. The HM Aeron looks amazingly comfortable and perfect but I just can't bring my self to spend that much money on a chair. Even though the second hand ones are a lot cheaper, they're still expensive and would mean I have to FIND one and make sure I don't get ripped off.. I also might be leaving the country in the future so would have to get rid of/sell the chair, so it's either one with higher resell-ability like the Aeron and costs more (still would probably stick with second hand) or a cheap and cheerful one (maybe under £100?).
What I'm thinking though is there MUST be an Aeron knock-off somewhere which is actually decent with all of the adjustments/mesh which don't try and charge £300+, the ones I find just seem to be rigid with adjustments and not comfy.
Has anyone found any gems? Or should I just suck it up and buy a refurbished Aeron for a ridiculous amount with the hope of re-selling it? Does anyone know how easy they are to sell on?
