Let me start off by saying I work remotely, so I spend very little time actually walking around in shoes. That being said, I really like the look of boots and think the longevity of a good pair would be a great investment. This is also coming from a guy who has only ever really owned sneakers and skate shoes his whole life.
I'm thinking of getting something from the Red Wing Heritage collection (probably factory seconds from sierratradingpost to save $100) but wanted to see if there's any other boots that aren't "working" boots that look great and last a long time. I'm looking to spend around $200-$300 (preferably in the $200 range).
