Specific I know. However at this juncture I would also be happy with any continuously variable fan that was quite durable if not 100% buy it for life. By continuously variable I mean with a dial or such, not 4 or even 7 separate buttons or settings that regulate the speed. Reason: I have used dozens of fans in different continents and always it is a choice between setting 1. = I am hot. Or, setting 2 and above = sneezefest & a cold here I come, all my papers are being blown away and why does it sound like a 767 airliner is taking off next to me? It boggles my mind why I have yet to see one with continuously variable settings, if it is a matter of costs of the components, I would gladly pay some more. Perhaps electricians can explain why they appear to be so uncommon (non-existent?). Thanks!
