I'm in love with the Contigo autoseal water bottles, but the damn things keep breaking on me. I'm very clumsy, so they always get knocked off of counters, flailed, or otherwise dropped. It's generally the part that hooks it onto stuff (purse straps etc) that breaks off, but I've had the entire top of the water bottle break and become useless.
Is there a bottle with a similar mechanism that's made of metal or something? I've easily gone through half a dozen bottles, and I buy them every time I find them in thrift stores because I know if I don't need one now, I will soon. I also have their coffee mugs, but I have no complaints with those. Those things can take a beating.
