My dad used to build dining tables out of cheap desk tops and light Inox legs, but they were all wobbly and would always move around if you were doing something on them. (That's probably not his fault, but the lack of budget.)Now I'm planning on building one for my room, from solid-wood. The beech wood top will weigh 29 kg, it will be 160 cm long, 80 cm wide and 2.5 cm thick.I am scared that it will move around while I'm using it, so I am looking for an optimal solution what I can achieve myself. The desk will be based in the corner of my room, and I have brick walls, so I thought about screwing it to the walls and achieving a floating effect. If I choose this way, do you think I will need to use an additional leg at the end corner of the desk top? Will it be stable enough? Do you have a better tip?Thank you for the help! via /r/DIY http://ift.tt/2vNbCOV
