I'm working on a pair of gauntlets for a costume. I've gotten a relatively decent materials list together for them, but I'm stuck at a roadblock.I want these gauntlets to have a metal base(which will be covered with fabric) such that they retain their shape, but I don't know what gauge and type of sheet metal I should be looking for.Ideally, I would like to be able to cut the metal with some form of hand tool, and be able to bend and shape it by hand.
