What advise does r/frugal have for him?
Some stuff my wife and I have taught him over the years.
Don't buy stuff on sale just because its on sale. Buy it because will you use it.
Quality over quantity.
Use double edge blades for shaving.
He doesn't drink fancy coffee or soda.
Use Amazon instead of the bookstore.
FWIW, He's on an athletic scholarship and lives in the dorm with most of his needs paid for including meals. We are going to provide him a small stipend for daily expenses.
I just want to make sure I can provide him with the best advice during our 16 hour drive to his new home.
Thanks in advance r/frugal!
