I've been using a microwave I found on the street for about 2 years now. It's not very good, and doesn't cook evenly, and is pretty under-powered. I've gotten food poisoning from food I thought was over cooked before, so now I just don't use it much and don't ever cook anything with meat in it like that (from frozen)
I'm ready to buy a microwave, I want to buy a reasonably high wattage one, and am 'not really but sort of' considering convection if anyone has any positive feedback on that. I've worked in restaurants and seen some decent cooking with some, but I have always had cheap, under-powered microwaves and don't understand the difference.
My only real requirement is a turn table and maybe 1100w min, and am prepared to spend ~$100 if it is worth it. So what are some user experiences with Microwave features?
